Terry Rumburg has worked on the Standardbred harness racing tracks in Indiana and in the show ring with American Saddlebreds. He spent eight years training at Fair Hills Saddlebred Farm in Topanga Canyon, California.
Jennifer Rumburg is a long-time believer in the American Saddlebred horse. But while working at the Kentucky Horse Park, she was introduced to the Rocky Mountain horse. Its smooth gait, gentle disposition and strong heritage of Kentucky Saddlers captivated her immediately.

A. For many reasons too numerous to list here, we do not offer artificial insemination.
Q. What’s the difference between your breeds of horses?
A. There are three main breeds of Mountain Horse: Kentucky Mountain, Rocky Mountain, and Mountain Pleasure. When you’re at Shoot the Moon, you’ll quickly learn the subtle differences between these breeds. The two we feature are the Rocky Mountain and Kentucky Maintain Saddle horse.
